Great tips Roland, thanks! You can normally see on the back of packaging whether products have come into contact with other products that include gluten when they are produced.

It's worth mentioning that it is extremely important to avoid any contamination with gluten while you are following these recipes. Toast crumbs from the toaster, wheat flour dust from ordinary baking and crumbs of bread in the butter can all cause contamination and illness for someone with Coeliac disease. Also be aware that Gluten free oats are diffrent from normal oats. Normal oats become contaminated with gluten from other grains in the farming, storage and milling process. Gluten free oats are dealt with separately to prevent contamination.
For more information look at Coeliac UK website.
