Sample Christmas Breakfast Menus
Over the past few weeks, we’ve been sharing our favorite wintry bed and breakfast recipes with you! Well, here’s how to put these key dishes together to make some delicious bed and breakfast menus…
Sample Menu 1: Classic
Start your guests on the right foot with these traditional bed and breakfast recipes at Christmas. The combination of eggs and sausages will be filling and warming for a chilly morning, whilst the tastes and flavors are suitably festive.
It’s also super easy to organise if you’re worried about the rush in the mornings as the Christmas bread and fruit ingredients can be prepared the night before. The next day, you’ll just need to whip up some fluffy eggs and bake the sausages. There’s not a lot of cooking involves, so quality ingredients will really make this bed and breakfast menu stand out for your guests. Hunt down meaty sausages from a butcher or local farm shop and choose fresh, not tinned, pears for the fruit medley.

Sample Menu 2: Family
If you’ve got kids staying, bed and breakfast menus can be a bit trickier to finalise – you have to please the little ones! Although it’s sometimes as easy as offering a nice sugary cereal like Coco Pops, the parents won’t exactly be as impressed by this. These bed and breakfast recipes should be suitable for every member of the family.
Like the classic menu, most of it can be prepared the night before – even the french toast, if popped in the fridge. We’ve made it appeal to the kids by adding a sweeter item like the muffins and in the presentation – they’ll love picking at the toast fingers and playing with the fruit and dip, which is a great way to encourage them to their five a day. The best fruits (bearing in mind what’s in season) are mandarin orange segments, pear and apple slices, grapes and kiwi.

Sample Menu 3: Healthy
We’ve all seen guests who read bed and breakfast menus and then put it down and ask for a grapefruit… At Christmas, abstaining is the last thing you want to do, though, so try and tempt those customers on a diet to indulge with these healthy treats.
Serving fresh fruit will be crucial in getting this one right, so don’t be afraid to substitute some of the suggestions for what you can find in your local shops.
